So first of all a huge thank you each and everyone of you for adding me to your watch,
to all of the comments, favs and features I've gotten and for your support in general.
I still find it difficult to update dA regularly, but I'll never leave it.
Also, I sold my first 3 prints last week, which made me extremely happy
I actually want to do something to celebrate the 1k watchers but I don't know what...
Any idea?
I'm in Berlin at the moment, which you can see loads of photos of on my blog.
I wasn't accepted by the art academy, which I was a bit sad about, but I found another study which I'm really enthusiastic about,
it's called Communication & Media Design, and it's pretty creative and broad. I'll never quite photography and I still hope to get far with it,
but I also find it nice to have a degree in something broader. (I'll be a designer when I finish the study).
So for now I'm just working in a cafe/restaurant till school begins.
By the way, I started a donation pool to finance my next subscription, I would appreciate it heaps if you'd donate, even if it'd be just 1 point. All the little bits help!

Happy 2014, everyone!
A new year, and cliche as it is, I'm going to go with a couple of new resolutions.
One of them is doing my very best to do a monthly photography feature. I've got the reminder set in my calendar to search for photos each week and collect them for a monthly journal entry.
Another one is the monthly Wallpaper Project I've started, with a new wallpaper each month available for download here.
I'm also participating in a self-portrait 52 weeks project called Let's Get Creative. It has a weekly theme and a lot of photographers are participating, so it's a lot of fun! I'll keep mine on my Instagram and my Tumblr mostly to k
Berlin Berlin (feature!)
Hello everyone!
Big big changes around here, the biggest being my full time internship in Berlin.
It's strange going abroad and then working there full time in an English-speaking office.
I haven't seen that much from the city this time (I've been here before though).
Luckily I've been able to meet fellow photographer Clara (She-hates-mondays (https://www.deviantart.com/she-hates-mondays)) and her friends,
and we did some fun stuff in the weekend :]
I'm feeling incredibly inspired, but with the 8 hour work days, it's just a challenge to use that feeling.
The weekends are basically my only outlet (so far I've only had one here haha).
I've been shooting mainly on film now, one of them
Hello, website and another book cover!
Hello everyone!
I'm turning 21 in a few days and have been quite busy more with "backstage" organizing of my life.
I'm now officially a business as "Noukka Signe" with a Chamber of Commerce number and everything!
Also, I've finally managed to get my self-built portfolio website right!
Please, check out the result here: www.noukkasigne.com
It took me a long time, and I'm really proud of the result. It's not completely perfect yet, but it works, mostly.
I'll keep working on it.
Another big thing that happened is that another book with my photo has been published!
The coolest thing is that the writer (the sweet Jill Hathaway) mentioned me
General update
Hello amazing people of DeviantART!
It's been forever since I've updated my journal! Or replied to general messages!
I've just noticed that some comments in my inbox are over a year old! My sincere apologies!
I'm going to reply to most of them tonight, so if you get a reply to a very old comment, that's why ;]
In the mean time, I've finished my Project 366, you can see it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/velvettears/sets/72157626798635394/
I'm working on my portfolio website, but IE doesn't like my code, so I'm struggling with that, but hopefully it will be online soon!
You can follow me mostly on facebook, flickr or my blog now a day
