Week 5
Set (me) free.
I'm not sure which it should be, considering the photo.
But 'set free' is more appropriate with my feelings and is how I got the idea of this photo.
Anyway, I'm busy with all the assignments for the art academy (which is a lot of work) and finding a job I like
But I was sitting in the train a few days ago, to go home from Daniel's. And I was just thinking about the art academy (no surprise there) and I was thinking about how my bag would be filled with photography and art books and my camera and how I would be an art student and then suddenly I couldn't stop smiling because I got this feeling from head to toe. That's what I want, that's who I want to be and what I want to do. And I suddenly knew for sure that there is no study or school in the world that I would want to do more than study photography in The Hague. It's such a great feeling. Finally knowing exactly what I want.
Now I just have to get in. But I thought of a more positive look at the numbers of 700 people who apply and 60 places. Because it means that sixty people have to be better than me, and be more talented than me, and more experience than me and be more motivated than me in order for me to not get accepted. And especially that last thing... and even though it's not like "I wanted this all my life", I do have that feeling I just described. I will not go down without a damn good fight. I will not let this go.
